Summer Fun

My mom said she always wanted a picture of me falling asleep in my highchair mid-meal. Well...today while my mom slipped out of the room, I fell asleep with a chocolate chip in my mouth:) I guess swimming this morning with my friends Aydin and Malia wore me out!
I even told my mom on the way home from the pool, "no nap!". But I guess moms do know best:)
This was taken a few weeks ago while I was at the park with my friends Ava and Ruby. We meet every Monday morning at the "big park" (aka Lion's Park) and we have a blast! Here I am sneaking some of Ava's yummy snacks (mom brings snacks for me but they are never as good as what my friends bring).
Ruby and I try to climb the tree. We don't get very far, but it does make us giggle.
Maybe when I am just a little bit bigger I can get up there!

The Day At the Zoo with Aiden and Malia

Today I went to the zoo with my new pals, Aiden and Malia. Aiden was so sweet and he wanted to hold my hand:) Mom said it was o.k.
We went on the train ride and got to see the elephants and giraffes. I got really excited when I saw two giraffes kissing each other!
Aiden and I shared our lunch with each other. I think he is pretty cool.
This picture is of Aiden, his mommy Camille, and his sister Malia. I hope we get to play with them again real soon.

Happy Mother's Day!

Daddy and I sent flowers to my mommy for Mother's Day. Daddy helped me pick out just the right kind of flower (he says that tulips are her favorite). She was so excited when the delivery came for her!
Then I helped her put water in the vase and even smelled the pretty flowers. I think Mother's Day is great! I got to tell lots of mommies "Happy Mother's Day!". We even went to brunch (where I mostly ate ketchup and syrup). My mom says that being a mommy is the best gift in the world and that God has been so good to our family.

Race for the Cure

I got to go to my first Race for the Cure this year! It was a little rainy, but I got to see so many people and doggies that I didn't care if it was cold and rainy.
Mom told me that Grandma is a breast cancer survivor and I was glad to walk (even if it was for just a short time due to the rain:) in honor of her! I thank God for helping my grandma get better.

It was fun to spend a Sat. morning outside with my mom, grandma, and grandpa!

My New Pal, Emma Kate

I got to meet my new pal, Emma, a few weeks ago. I think she is the best baby ever! She even let me hold her without crying.....well until I poked her eye a little bit and then mom said my turn was over.
I can't wait to watch her grow and some day be big enough to play with me! Jenny and Michael are really good parents, except they don't get to come over as much....I guess being parents is time-consuming:)

Running! Flipping! Jumping!

Mom signed me up for gymnastics a few weeks ago. Every time we pull into the parking lot to go to gymnastics I scream with excitement (imagine that...me screaming??).
I recently learned to say "ta-dah" after my back roll. Mom has to help me with my back roll and my somersault is more of a side roll, but my teacher (Miss Jackie) says that I am progressing very well! She said I could take a class all by myself (right now I'm in a mom/tot class), but mom says that we might wait a little while....until I am older and stay with the class a little better:)
My favorite thing about gymnastics though is the super long trampoline. I get to hop all the way down and then jump into a big pit. I only needed to hold my mom's hand the first time I did it and from then on I did it all by myself!

Gulf Shores Alabama with the Brownes

Last week mom, dad and I joined the Browne family down in Gulf Shores, Alabama. I had a blast playing in the sand and hanging by the pool.
We even went on a dolphin cruise, where I clapped for the dolphins and cheered them on!
Trey was so good to me. He was very patient with me when I was in his space....which was most of the time.
Cailynn and I had a great time playing together. She even shared her very special doll with me...because even though my mom brought a doll for me, I wanted what my older cousin had. She is a great big cousin!
I also enjoyed swimming in the pool and even practiced blowing bubbles a little. Aunt Jenny even went into the cold water with me.
I even helped my dad splash everyone by the pool! Not everyone wanted to get wet, but I think they were mad at my dad and not me:)
