Playing In The Snow

After waiting all winter to play in the snow, my mom finally decided to let me play outside today. My mom is a bit of a wuss when it comes to being out in the cold. But I was so excited!!!
We went for a long walk and even looked at the different footprints in the snow. My footprints were small and mom's are quite big! We also saw deer and dog footprints.
I had to take a break from walking so the bench was a great place to sit and listen to the birds and watch the airplanes go by.
I was a little sad when it was all over. However, I got over it rather quickly...
when mom gave me a snack of chocolate milk and marshmallows (her first attempt at warm chocolate milk didn't go over so well as I spit it out right away:)

My Big Girl Bed!

Last night daddy and Michael put my new bed together. Mommy picked out new bedding and I helped move my clothes into my new dresser.
I had a great night sleep and wasn't even scared. This morning I read in my new bed and jumped up and down and even figured out how to turn my light on and off!
I also played peek a boo with my mom. I tried to climb up the side but didn't have much luck:)
My new room is just great!

Lazy Saturdy at Home

I watched gymnastics and ice skating today on TV with my mommy. I thought I could be like the Olympians and pose like they did.
I twirled around and lifted my leg high into the air.

Last Saturday I thought it would be cool to wear my sunglasses at night.

I am watching you!

Dress Up

Aunt Kristen, Uncle Dan, Cailynn and Trey gave me a chest full of dress-up clothes for Christmas.
And once my mom showed me what to do, I was all about doing it myself:) They say independence at this age is a good thing!
My favorite thing to do was to put on the fancy shoes. I like to wear my mom's shoes, but these were even smaller!
I have finally figured out what my mom means when she tells me to smile for the camera!

Children's Museum

It was a special treat to go to the Children's Museum with my Aunt Terry and cousin Julia. First stop....carousel! I know I look scared in this picture, but I really do love it! I think I was just being silly.
I think Julia and Aunt Terry enjoyed the coursel ride as well. I was a little sad when it was over, but saying bye to the animals makes it a little easier.
We danced around dressed up in sea creature costumes. You could even see yourself on tv. I think Julia is really special and mostly I just held her hand and followed her around all day:)

Merry Christmas!

Mom has taken a sabbatical from updating my website over the holidays. I think this is worthy of a demerit, but I won't tell her that. So after much begging....here is a recent post:)

We started our holiday celebration in Terre Haute where I literally spent hours chasing my cousins Cailynn and Trey! They are so amazing and I just love watching everything they do! Mammaw and Pappaw were good hosts...we had lots of good food, some good laughs, and they even bought me my first bike!
My favorite gift that I gave was to my Uncle D. I felt like he should have pjs like the pjs I wear. And when mom found a pair with a sports theme I couldn't resist. He said they were a little tight and made him sweaty, but I think he really like them:)

Christmas morning I woke up to find a new doll highchair. It took me a while to figure out that I couldn't climb into it and now I think my babies enjoy eating in it.
Next we headed over to grandma and grandpas house. On the way I felt the need to take off my shoes and socks and pick the lint out of my toes. I don't know how that always happens but it drives me crazy!
I had so much fun playing with all my cousins and wouldn't you know there were presents for me there too! I got to play with my new kitchen set all day and opened more presents than I can count. Mostly I enjoyed everyone there and feel like I have the best family ever:)

Cailynn and Trey Visit

Cailynn and Trey visited this weekend and we went on the Polar Express train ride. I was a little scared of the polar bear, but I liked the dog that howled during the story time.
It was so much fun being with my cousins!
I said, "choo-choo" with my grandma while we were on the train. I even got to eat some honey grahams and drink some juice.
Later that day we went to an indoor play park and I was so excited to see Cailynn and Trey climb so high!
They even had a little something for kids my size:)
