We spent a week in South Haven, MI with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Eric, Aunt Alissa, Addyson and Uncle John. The weather wasn't great, but we had a good time. Addyson loved to chase me around the house & loved to touch Bella's face...which Bella didn't always like, but she loved being around her cousin anyways:)
Dad decided to shave most of his hair off before vacation...claiming he was tired of styling it. If he only knew the trouble girls go to to do their hair!
Me and Bella...I was trying to encourage her to smile, but mom said I wasn't being all that helpful.
Finally, a family photo where dad isn't being goofy. Mom's waited all summer for one!
It rained quite a bit while we were there, so we had lots of pajama days...running around the house, watching movies, and playing games.
We made a tent out of towels one morning...since we weren't using them that day at the beach.
Hanging out with Uncle John...he's the best!
There were a couple of nice afternoons so we did make it to the pool and to the sand to play. I think this was Addyson's first wagon ride...she liked it.
Bella loved the water, but got cold pretty quickly. I dunked my face so many times mom thought I'd turn into a fish. I also insisted that I wasn't cold...and when mom told me I was shivering, I told her I wasn't...forced my body to stop and said "see..I'm not shivering".
Bella really liked the sand. She liked crawling through the sand and scooping it up. She also liked trying to eat...so I think her play time on the beach was short lived:)
What a cutie!
I could play in the sand for hours! We build sand castles, went for walks, jumped in the waves, and sometimes I just rolled around.
Cold and tuckered out...
Our cousin, Julia, visited in early August...so we went to the Children's Museum with her one day. This is the first time Bella really interacted with all the toys. She loves to play with food/kitchen now.
Waving from the carousel..you can't see Julia/Aunt Terry but they are one there. I was sitting next to Aunt Carole.
Bella liked hanging out on Grandpa's lap:)
Bella's favorite cabinet (well...the only one she can open in the kitchen). She likes to pull all the tupperware out and mom and I put it back in.
I went to ballet classes this summer & had a mini recital for the last class. Here I am warming up...
Mom got some on video..so I think she'll try to upload that next.
